This chess set exemplifies luxury! This is an exceptional set of chessmen crafted by Italian artisans in Italy. This set will become the centerpiece of any room. The pieces are solid brass plated with 24K gold/silver with wood in between which is dipped in gold/silver to give a unique finish. There are several clear coats over the gold/silver so they will not tarnish therefore you do not have to polish them. The matching chess board is an exceptional board crafted by Italian artisans in Italy, it is crafted of briarwood and Birdseye maple and is lined with a black onyx color along the boarder. There is a raised frame brushed with gold and sliver for a unique finish with a high gloss finish. This luxury chess set is made in Italy for you! King height: 5". Base diameter: 1 3/4". Very heavy in weight with felted bottoms. 24K gold/silver plated over solid brass. Squares 2 3/8".
