Terra Canis SENIOR menus contain approx. 60% meat. A high protein content is important to counter the decline of the muscles as the dog ages. The menus are grain-free in order not to place unnecessary strain on the dog’s increasingly sluggish digestive system. Digestion is aided with valuable fibre in the form of healthy fruit and vegetables. The medicinal herbs found in the menus support the heart (hawthorn), the kidneys (stinging nettle), the joints (horsetail, glucosamine), the immune system (rose hip) and the gastrointestinal tract (camomile and fennel seed). Goat’s milk is easily digestible and provides an extra portion of natural vitamins, minerals and trace elements in our SENIOR menus. The SENIOR menus are suitable for older and very old dogs.
